The victory of Democrat Joe Biden in the US presidential elections is generating a lot of discussion, and much to celebrate, at least among the politician's voters. And one of the cities that most celebrated Donald Trump was the Big Apple , New York, which featured a classic song in its soundtrack.
John Lennon 's anthem of peace and unity, "Imagine," was one of the songs chosen to echo through the city streets during the street celebrations, echoing a message of hope and dreams of a better world with the prospect of Biden and Kamala Harris .
John Lennon's official Twitter account even shared the recording, filmed in Washington Square Park, with the hashtag #IMAGINE, and on the artist's official Instagram, a clip from an interview with John and Yoko with the phrase "The war is over!" displayed on posters in the background of the image, discussing the context of hope and peace in the classic song, was published, according to some fans, to solidify the artist's possible support for the Democratic candidate. "It's like we woke up one day and thought, 'Is this a dream? Is this a nightmare? What has been happening?' And we're all just trying to make the next day a little bit better," he says in the video.
